Halloween Party & Costume Contest
Get ready for a haunt-ingly good night! Join us on Saturday, October 31st from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM for our annual Halloween Party & Costume Contest.
Dress in your best, wildest, or spookiest attire for a chance to win prizes in our Costume Contest! We’ll be pouring local craft beers, small-production wines, artisan ciders, and meads all night long to keep the spirits high while jamming to spooky tunes!

Small Business Saturday
Nov 28 is Small Business Saturday, a day created specifically for small businesses like The Good Life. This year, don't just Shop Small for our local, Artisan wines and California Craft Beer. Do it for the businesses you love, for the community you call home, and for the money that can stay in the neighborhood when we all Shop Small. This Nov 28, get up, get out, and Shop Small.
Julefest Parade
“Glædelig jul” (Happy Christmas!) We are open early today for the annual Julefest Parade which begins at 11am and runs right past our cozy little shop. We will have Mimosa’s on special as well as our famous housemade Danish Gløgg!
Neighbors Night Holiday Potluck
Every neighbor down in Neighbor-ville liked Christmas a lot! But the Grinch on the hilltop? Well... maybe he did not!
He hated the noise and the holiday cheer, And the thought of a belly left empty this year.
It could be his shoes were pinched tight on his feet, Or maybe he just needed something to eat!
So we’re gathering ‘round for a holiday treat— A big neighborhood feast on our favorite street!
It’s time for our Annual Neighbors Night Holiday Potluck!
Bring a dish to pass round! Bring a pudding or stew! Bring a savory roast beast, or sweet goodies for two!
Bring a casserole bubbly, or bread baked up bright, And we’ll feast, feast, feast, FEAST through a glorious night!
No heart will be small, no stomach unfed, So put on your favorite sweater of green or of red!
Come laugh with your neighbors, sing loud, and stay late— Just bring your warm smile and a dish for a plate!
All guests must be 21+. We will supply disposable plates and napkins but please bring your own service ware.

New Year’s Eve
Happy New Year! Join us for an intimate and cozy “East Coast” New Year’s Celebration. We will be open from 6:00pm - 10:00pm. The evening with include party favors and a sparkling toast at 9:00pm (east coast midnight). There is no cover but there is a two drink minimum per person and all guests must be 21+.
Reservations are available for Club members, for all others, seating is first come first served.

Fireside Frights
Gather 'round, if you dare, for an evening of chilling tales and crackling flames at our Fireside Frights event! As the sun sets and shadows lengthen, we'll huddle together by the warmth of the fire, sharing our most spine-tingling ghost stories. Bring your bravest spirit and your most unsettling narrative or simply come to listen and let the eerie atmosphere transport you. The cellar is fully stocked with sinfully delicious beverages to calm your nerves... or perhaps to fuel your fears. Prepare for a night of unforgettable scares and camaraderie around the fire……
The event is open to all guests 21+. Each storyteller will have 10 min. to share an original or favorite spooky tale, poem or song. If there’s time, we will do a second round.
14 Year Anniversary
Join us on Saturday, October 3rd as we celebrate our 14-year anniversary! We’re throwing a party to thank you for all your support over the years. Come out for music, special discounts on your favorite craft beers and local wines, exciting giveaways, and more.
Meet Your Maker
“Join us as we welcome “Two Broads” Cider for the perfect fall “Meet Your Maker”!
Meet Your Maker is a monthly event where you get the chance to meet and hear the stories of some of the finest winemakers and brewers. This is your chance to taste their creations and enjoy a great afternoon relaxing with friends.
The cost is $25 per person (this event is included in membership for all club members)
Danish Days
The Good Life will feature Danish wine, craft beer, and mead for a limited time only, offering visitors an exclusive taste of local and traditional libations. Join us on the patio at 2:30pm as the Danish Days parade rolls right past the shop. You will have BEST seat in the house! Skol!
